The stag will randomly graze or rest unitl he perceives a threat, then he will run. When he no longer perceives the threat, he will go back to grazing. The Stag can also travel in a herd with other deer.

Reflection
The process of creating and polishing the Stag Deer was enjoyable. I used a behavior tree/blackboard asset in Unreal Engine when I first created this artifact, however, I found the deer wouldn’t work exactly as I intended it too, so I changed my approach and scripted the behavior in the AI controller and the deer blueprint instead. Utilizing these assets created a more dynamic NPC deer character. One challenge I faced was trying to get the deer to run away from the human character when it heard a sound. I still have not figured this out but will continue to work on it until I do.
